CARE invites applications from Local Qualified Afghan Female candidates for its Kabul based position of Community Based Educator in its HAWA Program. CARE Afghanistan through HAWA program established the reproductive health program OMID (Opportunities for Mother and Infant Development) in 2005 in cooperation with the Centre for Disease Control and prevention (CDC).
The project implements a maternal and neonatal health project in district 7, 6, 5 and 8 of Kabul city, aiming to establish a community-based referral and surveillance system in these four districts.
The community based educators ensure community involvement by visiting and following women in child bearing age in their communities.
